FWsim on Mac OS

Do you want to use FWsim, the fireworks simulation software, on a Mac OS device - for example, a MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro or MacBook Air?

Unfortunately, at the current time, we do not offer a version that runs on Mac OS. FWsim is only available for Microsoft Windows.

However, there is a workaround: You could install Windows as a second operating system on your Mac computer, and then run FWsim on that. We have not tested this ourselves, and we cannot promise that it will work, but some customers have reported that this works fine. This article explains how to do that: How to get Windows on Mac.

Update - October 2023

Several people are currently using FWsim via Parallels. We have not tested this ourselves, but we hear that it works and delivers good performance.
