Export to Pyrosure

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a new show or open an existing one.
  2. Under the “Export” tab on the right, select the Pyrosure system.
  3. Under the “Modules” tab, create enough modules for all cues. Per default, cues are connected to the nearest module. However, you can also associate modules with specific firing positions.
  4. Click Export -> Pyrosure and select a filename. FWsim will generate module and pin numbers automatically and create a .wyh file. If there are any problems (e.g. too few modules), FWsim will alert you.

Modules, Slats and Pins

Pyrosure identifies modules by numbers - 1, 2, 3, and so on. These modules have slats and pins. There are 6 slats on a module (A, B, C, D, E, F) and 4 pins on each slat (1, 2, 3, 4). For example, a valid Pyrosure address is: 2/F3. This means: module 2, slat F, pin 3.

FWsim can generate Pyrosure channel assignments automatically, as described above. You can also change the addresses manually. Please refer to Assigning Addresses to Cues for details.

Module Number Requirements

Pyrosure has two requirements on how the module numbers are assigned. When exporting to Pyrosure, FWsim will check these and alert you if there are any problems.
