FWsim Pro can now export to the Explo firing system. This feature is currently available in a private beta. This beta version is developed in direct cooperation with Explo and will be tested by them aswell.
As soon as the export functionality is tested, it will be available to all FWsim Pro customers as a free update.

If you are using the Explo firing system, why not participate in the beta test? You can test FWsim Pro for free, with no obligations.

Create a fireworks show in FWsim, upload to YouTube, and participate in our contest!

The first three entries will receive an unlimited license for FWsim Pro. The winner also gets a fireworks photo calendar!

The winners will be determined by online voting.

Important: If you use music, it must not be copyrighted! Otherwise, you will not be able to participate. Find out how to get uncopyrighted music.

Timeline:

• Submission is open now and runs until December 29th, 14:00am, Central European Time.
• Voting is open from December 30th until December 31th.

Rules:

• If you use music, it must not be copyrighted. Find out how to get uncopyrighted music.
• I recommend you to use 3D models. This will make your show stand out! Any 3D models and background images must also be uncopyrighted. (Tip: use Google Warehouse).
• Videos should be HD (720p or 1080p) and must be uploaded to YouTube.
• Add “FWsim” as tag on YouTube.

How to participate:

1. Create your show in FWsim.
2. Go to Tools -> Preferences and make sure the video size is 720p or 1080p.
3. Select File -> “Upload to YouTube” and follow the instructions. Alternatively, select “Export Video” and upload it yourself.
4. Add a comment with your link to this blog posting. Do not forget to fill in your e-mail address!

The winner of the FWsim contest for Les Feux de Chantilly has been announced!

Les Feux de Chantilly is a fireworks duel happening on June 17th & 18th in Cantilly / France. People from around the world participated and created virtual fireworks shows with music.
The winner of the festival is Florian_F and his video ishere on DailyMotion.

His firework will be fired in reality on both evenings of Les Feux de Chantilly.

I’ll be in France for the festival and I’m looking forward to seeing the first real firework planned with FWsim.

In June, a fireworks festival is held in Chantilly / France. Two prestigous fireworks companies compete, and YOU can be a part of it!
Download the most recent version of FWsim, and click “Online Competition –> New Competition Entry” in the menu. Create a fireworks show with music and with the given effects. You can use either the trial or the full version of FWsim.

The winner show will be fired at the festival in front of 50000 people! The winner also gets tickets for the event and free accomodation!
